Security In Las Vegas
Up until around 2014, all you needed was an ID to get into a Vegas nightclub. They didn't have security checkpoints or metal detectors. People just came to the club to party, similar to how it still is in Miami. But for Vegas, those days have come and gone; all clubs now have stringent security. .
In this Guide to Las Vegas Security at the Clubs and Pools, we go over all the dos and don’ts to make sure you get in and have a good time.

Intoxication
This has been a problem for us in the past when people party all day at the pool, and instead of going back to the room to rest or take a nap, they come straight to the nightclub acting rude, disrespectful and downright belligerent. Security personnel at all clubs in Vegas are instructed not to let in people in who look and act like they have been overserved. There is a huge liability if they let someone in who is intoxicated and something terrible were to happen. It's a different story if you become intoxicated while inside the club; then it’s at the discretion of club management as to whether you are allowed to stay or if you have to be escorted from the property. Words of advice, don’t ruin the experience for you or anyone else by showing up drunk to a pool or a club.
Final Word
As long-time experts in the day life and nightlife industry, we have pretty much seen it all. Just follow the rules, use common sense, arrive sober, or fairly sober, and you will have a great experience.
