Parachute Las Vegas
Beginners will be required to wear a jumpsuit and loose-fitting, comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement. Depending on the weather, shorts and a tee-shirt or lightweight pants are perfect. Laced-up sneakers or flat-soled shoes are a MUST; they will keep your feet safe, and they are the best for the landing.
Skydiving is not physically strenuous. As far as weight requirement, it typically depends on the skydiving equipment being used, but the industry standard dictates a maximum of 225 pounds. The minimum age requirement is 16, but there is no maximum age for skydiving. Be sure to put something light in your stomach, and we strongly suggest you don't drink before you jump. There's plenty of time for that afterward!
Skydiving Packages
Our Vegas Skydiving Experience package includes instructor fees, equipment rental, airport fees and taxes, and a complimentary shuttle from specific locations on The Strip to the skydiving hangar where you will be trained on the ground and given the required equipment and gear – a parachute, goggles, helmet, altimeter, and skydiving suit.
Next, you will take an airplane ride that will provide views over famous sites like the Hoover Dam, Colorado River, and Red Rock Canyon. When it comes time for the plunge, you will jump freefall with your instructor at speeds as high as 190 kilometers per hour for approximately one minute. Once the parachute deploys, your instructor will show you how to steer it to the ground for a smooth landing.
Tandem diving is a safe and thrilling way to enjoy your very first skydive, however, if you prefer to skydive solo, you can practice by making multiple jumps until you are confident that you can do it on your own. Those who already have adequate experience under their belt can rent equipment from several Vegas skydiving companies.
