What are good Hotel Pools?

Sin City has some pretty cool pools that are not considered party pools. Some of my favorites are the MGM Grand pool and lazy river, the large Mandalay Bay Beach pool, the Planet Hollywood Surf experience, and the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan. These are my top choices if you don't want to experience the above-listed dayclubs.

I am staying at the Hotel; can I get in for Free?

The answer here is maybe. Some hotels allow hotel guests access to all pools, and some will treat hotel guests just like any guest. If the day club books a popular DJ, management will likely treat the event like a concert, and you will want to get on the guestlist or buy a ticket. Can you rent a Daybed or Cabana?

This means a pair of swim trunks, a t-shirt or tank top, flip flops, gym shoes, or sandals. I am not sure why this is so hard to comprehend for some guys. Ahh, the topless pools in Sin City. Admittedly, we love them, and they seem to be gaining popularity. Although we don't have any new editions to the venue line-up, the old standbys will have the ladies feeling "free." What time do the Pool Parties close?

All the pools in Vegas usually open at 11 AM and close around 6:00 PM. One exception, Sapphire Pool, opens at noon. If some bigger spots like Wet Republic and Encore Beach still have a decent crowd around 6:00 PM, they might extend it. On weekdays, some places like AYU Day Club, Encore Beach Club, and Daylight open at noon, check with us.

The other notable Hip Hop party is Lit 🔥 Sundays at Daylight Beach Club, and Tao Beach does Hip Hop Sundays. Several pools play open-format – a mix of top 40, EDM, and hip hop. For the open-format parties, check with us as artists may change, but Flamingo Go Pool, Stadium Swim, Liquid Pool Lounge, and Daylight are usually good calls on Thursday and Friday.

What Pool Parties play Latin?

Daylight Beach Club, a Caribbean poolside retreat at Mandalay Bay Resort, hosts a popular Neon Vibra Latin Party on Saturday nights during the summer season. Boasting the only Latin night swim on the Strip, Daylight features handcrafted signature cocktails, bottle service specials, made-to-order beach-side bites, and some of the best Latin entertainers in the business!

The Pool, at the Sahara Hotel, hosts Mala Vida Latin Nights every Friday night starting at 9 PM. It features some of the hottest Latin DJs on the planet, such as Shark, Platano, !Amlou, and Beto. This Latin party is lit and a great way to kick-start your weekend. Drai's Beachclub at The Cromwell Hotel has created one of the hottest Latin parties on the Strip – Carnival Latin Sundays. Expect to hear a variety of Latin music from an impressive line-up of DJs while taking in the views, sipping on cocktails, and soaking up the sun.

When is the Pool Season?

In the past, opening weekend was mid-March, but these days, with the climate change, we sometimes get decent weather in early March, so the big hitters like Encore Beach Club and Marquee Day Club try and push their luck on the first couple of weekends in March. The season goes until mid-October or even late October for EBC, Wet, and Marquee Day Club. For year-round pools, check out Stadium Swim, the Marquee Dome, and the day party Lavo Party Brunch.

How is the Security at Pool Parties?

Security at pools is taken very seriously. Expect metal detector screenings and bag checks at the entrance. There is a zero-tolerance policy toward illegal substances and weapons. Age restrictions are enforced, so be prepared to present a valid picture ID proving that you are at least 21. Security personnel are vigilant in monitoring the crowd, ensuring that everyone is adhering to the venue's rules and regulations, and they are trained to handle unruly behavior promptly and professionally, maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
