On Tuesday, November 7, Omnia Nightclub, located inside Caesar’s Palace, will host a benefit concert. This benefit, presented by the Hakkasan Group in Las Vegas, will help raise funds for the victims and families of the tragic shooting of October 1. With a death toll of 59 and over 500 people left injured, the public has been very supportive of efforts to help those affected.
Las Vegas has become a hub for the electronic dance music or EDM scene with several well-known DJs in the employ of the Hakkasan Group. Several EDM headliners will be at one stage during this event, including Lil Jon, Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Zedd, Nghtmre, Cash Cash, and Tiesto. Both locals already familiar with the Vegas music scene and visitors will enjoy this night of entertainment and be able to help the victims at the same time.
All of the proceeds from this exciting night will go to the Las Vegas Victims Fund, courtesy of the non-profit Direct Impact Fund. Tickets are available from $30 for general admission and VIP options in several seating areas range from $1,000 to $10,000. They will not take any fees or commissions for this event, making a greater impact for the beneficiaries, many of whom have a long recovery ahead.
A generous $200,000 donation has already come from Tiesto, who has strong ties to Las Vegas and is a resident DJ with the Hakkasan Group. Steve Aoki has also donated, and the music community has been encouraging its own to keep contributing as well. This benefit is a way that he and others in the music industry have decided to reach out in the aftermath of the events on October 1.
The event is open to guests 21 and older. The nightclub will be open for the event starting at 9:30 pm.
