Over Labor Day weekend, the annual North Coast Music Festival will be taking place in Union Park. The popular music and arts festival will feature a wide range of musical performances including rock, folk, and hip hop.
For its ninth edition, the three-day festival will have four curated stages which will be full with a lineup of incredible live performers and DJs. One of this year’s headliners includes Jamiroqual, one of the most celebrated bands in music, as well as Grammy-Winning RnB sensation Miguel. You can also expect to see more familiar names like Axwell ^ Ingrosso and DJ Snake.
Last year, North Coast introduced a new stage and is expected to have even more additions for this year’s event. You will also discover a pop-up art gallery, daily complimentary yoga sessions, and designs created with help from The Elder Tree and Ava Grey Designs. The all-ages music fest is produced by local indie promoters and is expected to host more than 60 bands, DJs and MCs. Onsite there will also be general merchant vendors and plenty of beer and food options. Tickets are available now for $45 to $55 per day or $199 for a full three-day pass.
The North Coast Music Festival will be held from August 31 st through September 2 nd .Alcoholic beverages are available to adults age 21 or over who show government- issued photo ID and have a wristband from a festival employee. You can expect the festival to continue, rain or shine. Know that there are certain rules that must be followed when attending the festival. Upon entry to the fest ground, you will be searched and will need to empty out your pockets. All narcotic laws are strictly enforced and the employees have the right to refuse entry to anyone.
The North Coast Music Festival, which is affectionately known as “Summer’s Last Stand” is a celebration of multiple genres. Each day there will be multiple entertainers performing on stage, as well as DJs who will provide even more entertainment later in the evening. On the first day of the festival, attendees can enjoy entertainers like Miguel, Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Snails, SmokePurpp, DVSN, Too Many Zooz, Juice WRLD, Two Friends, and Barclay Crenshaw. At Friday’s event you can also expect to see Bryce Vine, Beak Nasty, Monte Booker, and Drezo. Auxchord DJ’s takeover will include The Cool Kids, Vic Lloyd, Iris Temple, Marty Mars, Babes Only, DJ King Marie, Pachanga, Esquire, and Kaina+Sen Morimoto. On Saturday, you can expect a whole new lineup of amazing entertainers. The second day’s events include DJ Snake, The Revivalists, Vulfpeck, Cashmere Cat, RL Grime, Lil Skies, The Strumbellas, The Polish Ambassador & the Diplomatic scandal, Robert DeLong, Tauk, Knower, Yheti, and Edamame. Following the Lyrical Lemonade takeover, you can expect to see MadeinTYO, Comethazine, Worholl.ss, Landon Cube,
Steven Cannon, Cousin Stizz, Ronsocold, Qari, Duffle Bag Buru, Sunde, and Mulatto. The first two days includes many amazing performances, and the third and final day is set to be just as great.On Sunday, the incredible lineup includes Jamiroquai, Gramatik, Yellow Claw, Moon Taxi, Mura Masa, Lil Xan, Rapsody, Jacob Banks, Nombe, The Midnight, Cofresi, Crywolf, Kami, and Maddy O’ Neal. At Chicago’s Most Wanted Battlegrounds, the lineup consists of Midnight Conspirary, Bently Dean vs. Steve Gerard, Porn and Chicken vs. 2Fac3d, Gettoblaster vs. Jerome Baker, Ron Carroll vs. Diz, Apollo XO vs. DJ Simone,RJ Pickens vs. Phil Rizzo, and LWKY.
